Deadly Blood Worm
Blood worms lurk in stilly pools, hiding in silt so that fish can enjoy them. Here's your answer: the Deadly Blood Worm. These are the larvae of Midge, and in a teaspoon of sediment, there can be an immense amount of them~ Trout tend to swim along the bottom, collecting them in the silt and filtering out all the worms.
This design has Stu's signature wiggly worm hump, like all his other worm flies and grub concoctions. Just suspend this yummy chow under a dry fly or a teeny indicator and allow it to graze the bottom. Cast it in front of Trout that are foraging and wait for the glimmer of white from its mouth, then set that hook.
Remember, Having more than one good fly and the right size is always good. So, the more significant the pack, the better; that way, you will have a few staple flies doubled and trebled up in the pack selection.
As we know, there's nothing worse than losing the only fly you have that works.
